Philip Yee, M.B.A., C.P.A., C.G.A. – Director, VP Finance and CFO

  • Professional accountant with MBA and MEng (Mining) degrees and with over 16 years of experience in corporate management, regulatory reporting, accounting, auditing and taxation.

  • BComm degree, University of British Columbia

  • MBA degree, City University

  • MEng (Mining) degree, University of Arizona

  • Achieved professional qualifications as CPA, CGA, CMA, CMC, CIA, CFE and MAusIMM.

  • From 1988 to 1997, acted as controller, treasurer and/or associate for Canadian Connection Group, Can-Chi Group and Corporate House, responsible for all accounting, reporting and management functions for private and public companies.

  • From 1997 to 2003 acted as Controller for Augusta Group, overseeing all accounting and reporting activities for publicly-listed mineral exploration companies.

  • Has acted as Chief Financial Officer, Vice-President (Finance) and/or Controller for Canarc Resource Corp. (since 2003), Aztec Metals Corp. (since 2003), Endeavour Silver Corp. (from 2003 to 2007) and Parallel Resources Ltd. (from 2009 to 2011).

Marco Montecinos, B.A. – VP Exploration

  • Professional Geologist with over 25 years experience in exploration projects and business development in the Americas

  • Marco has worked as Senior Consultant to Intrepid Mines Ltd. in the Americas and Australia, as Vice President of Exploration for Montana Gold, numerous junior, intermediate and senior companies including Francisco Gold, Phelps Dodge, Placer Dome, Billiton, Alta Gold and Nerco Minerals

  • Marco was instrumental in the discovery of the Marlin Deposit in Guatemala and other gold deposits in Nevada, Mexico, and Central America.

  • Marco is a native of Chile and fluent in Spanish.

 


Stewart Lockwood, L.L.B., M.B.A. — Director, Secretary and Legal Counsel

  • Securities lawyer with 20 years experience in corporate and securities law.

  • M.B.A. degree, UBC and London School of Business, London UK, 1985.

  • L.L.B. degree, Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto ON, 1983.

  • From 1985 to 1991, general, corporate and securities law with Weiler, Maloney, Nelson and Sobolewski, Anfield, then acted as listings officer with Vancouver Stock Exchange, reviewing public company listings, filings, prospectus offerings, financings, mergers, take-overs, splits, consolidations, re-organizations, etc.

  • Between 1992 and 2000, was in-house legal counsel, corporate secretary and general manager for Canarc Resource Corp.  and several reporting TSXV and TSE mining companies, and was responsible for all corporate, securities and legal matters including regulatory filings, prospectus offerings, private placements, information circulars, annual reports, option and benefit plans, offshore subsidiaries, computer systems and office leases.
