  •
Multiple gold-quartz veins with silica and clay alteration controlled by structural zones within andesite and dacite volcanics - mineralization possibly associated with rhyolite dikes
  •
Mineralized structures have been traced for over 2.5 Km and 500 meters vertically
  •
Hochschild drilled 4 holes in 2007 and intersected up to 40.8 m grading 0.6 gpt Au including 17m of 1.05 gpt Au in drill hole HMT-1 and 16.65 m grading 0.89 gpt Au in HMT-3
  •
No follow-up drilling has been completed.  Target is open along strike and down dip

The Tecolote vein system outcrops west of the Moris mine and includes numerous gold bearing vein, stock-work and silicified zones up to dozens of meters in width over a 2.5 km strike length and 500 m in vertical extent.  The most intense alteration is on the portion of the vein system that underlies the La Fe concession, and a pole dipole IP survey delineated chargeability and resistivity anomalies below the surface expression. Hochschild drilled three holes in the Tecolote structural zone on the La Fe concession and confirmed continuity of gold mineralization over the 250 meters of vein strike length that was drill tested.  The three holes drilled in 2007 by Hochschild intersected 0.6 gpt gold over 40.8 m (0.02 opT over 133 ft) and 1.1 gpt over 17.1 m (0.032 opT over 56.1 ft).  All analyses were completed at the ALS Chemex lab in Hermosillo, Mexico.

Surface rock chip sampling completed by Hochschild and Exmin in 2007 focused on quartz vein sampling.  The mineralized veins contained up to 22 gpt gold and up to 180 gpt silver.  All samples were prepared and analysed at the ALS Chemex lab in Hermosillo, Mexico.  A few samples of silicified or argillized rhyolitic to andesitic volcanics were sampled and a did contain up to 2.94 gpt gold and 2 breccia samples contained 3.6 and 6.8 gpt gold.  These non-vein types of targets will be more fully explored during the 2011 mapping and sampling program to explore the possibility of a bulk mineable, low grade target.
